Our Story
Paw-Freakin’-Tastic started as a result of two challenges I had in my life. The first was my inability to find tasty, healthy snacks for myself that were dairy and gluten free. The second was the health of my dogs. One had cancer (Roxy) and the other had severe anxiety (Teddy).

As I Realtor, I was on the road a lot and finding tasty gluten and dairy free snacks for my travels was very difficult. I created my own yummy gluten and dairy free crackers that were also vegan. One challenge solved. Not only did I enjoy them; my dogs did too. So I made them a dog-friendly version.
In 2019, my sweet cocker spaniel Roxy was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer and given 2 weeks to live. Chemo and radiation were not options. I heard about the great benefits of Chaga and immediately started giving it to her daily. Miraculously, she lived for almost two years with her cancer actually going into remission for the first year. That’s where the idea for a Chaga dog treat was born.

Now Teddy on the other hand, came from a horrendous puppy mill situation and was the most anxious shut down dog I had ever seen. Nothing worked and many treatments actually made it worse. I made it my mission to develop a treat that would help his anxiety. I created two – No Worries for his situational anxiety (fireworks, thunderstorms, car rides, vet visit, grooming) and Chillax for his everyday anxiety (separation, high stress). Teddy still has his triggers, but he has become a very relaxed and brave boy over the years.
In January 2023, Paw-Freakin’-Tastic was officially launched. I find it so satisfying to be able to help so many anxious dogs and their owners. There is nothing better than seeing the videos of anxious pups relaxed and unbothered by all of their previous triggers.
